Looking for something bright and colourful to add spark to a empty corner of the room?  Why not a multi-coloured bean bag?!

Our High-back (XXL) bean bags have been on sale for a while and we’ve just reduced them further to the ridiculously low price of £59!  Amazingly, this price includes filling, delivery and VAT!!  As you’ll have guessed, this is clearance stock that we need to shift.  We are always introducing new products and our warehouse gets a bit cluttered so they are definitely priced to go.

We think these bean bags look great in the type of room where decor is plain, white-washed walls with splashes of colour coming from select pieces of furniture, cushions, throws, paintings, etc.

For £59 you can’t even buy a cheapo faux leather bean bag off the high street, but with our unique Everlast Faux Leather bean bags you are getting the best quality leather-like material on the market with a construction quality that is built to last.

We envisage these to sell quickly so get in there quickly to bag yourself a bean bag bargain.

Imogen, Hugh and Super Injunctions

Tuesday, May 17th, 2011

It’s the big talking point on gossip pages, radio talkshows and glossy magazines…which Premier League footballer did Imogen off Big Brother have an affair with?!  Personally, I’m not interested, but the whole issue has really thrust into the limelight the special court order known as the SUPER INJUNCTION!  (Which sounds extremely dramatic and a bit daft).  Until quite recently this legal ruling was completely unknown to the British public, but it’s now big news.

Watching News Night from the comfort of my leather bean bag on Friday night (I know, I’ll have to slow down one day) I saw Hugh Grant, a lawyer and a girl who apparently once slept with Wayne Rooney discussing the issue.  Mr Grant seems to have caused a bit of a stir by stating that the super injunction is a marvellous, if a little flawed, thing.

I have to say, I’m all for freedom of the press as it helps makes our country what it is.  For example, I supported the Mail on Sunday when they blew open the story of FIFA’s questionable World Cup voting system.  Surely, I said, this is what good journalism is all about: exposing corruption and bad practice to help improve the world in which we live.  I couldn’t understand why anyone would prefer to turn a blind eye to what was going on, in the hope that we might have more chance of landing the competition.

However, I do have a great deal of sympathy for stars like Hugh Grant.  I’m not sure why it should be in the public interest for us to know about their affairs and indiscretions.  That seems to me to be solely a private matter.  Clearly, if something genuinely does concern the public, such as the recent case involving Lib Dem MP David Laws, who wrongfully claimed expenses for a room he rented from his gay partner.  However true it may be that Mr Law’s motivation was purely to hide his sexuality, it is surely in the public interest to find out about such an arrangement.

But, when a celebrity romps with a mistress or reality TV contestant, I don’t think the public has an automatic right to find out.  Ideally, laws should be more clear what newspapers can and cannot print, and limit their exposés to those that genuinely do help improve our society rather than simply provide tittle tattle for the country’s workplaces.

Leather bean bags back in stock

Tuesday, May 10th, 2011

Just a quick one to let you know we now have pretty much all real leather bean bags back in stock.  Perfect for adding a bit of funky yet chic style to a stylish living space, our genuine leather bean bags are of the highest quality.

The Sao Paulo bean bag is the biggest in our leather range:

Be careful, though, as the Sao Paulo is huge (not always necessarily given justice in pictures).  Measuring 140cm diameter, be sure you have the space for this mammoth bean bag.  Available for just £249.00 with free delivery.

A smaller alternative to the Sao Paulo bean bag is its younger brother Sao Luis.  Measuring around 120com diameter, it’s still very large so again, please measure up!

The Sao Luis is currently available for just £229.00 with free delivery.

Slightly smaller still (though it’s still a big one) is the Santiago leather bean bag:

At around 100cm across, the Santiago leather bean bag is large but very manageable and easily moved around from room to room.  On sale now at just £199.00 with free delivery.

We also have the classic teardrop/pear shape/high-back – whatever you like to call it – bean bag in real leather.  Simple and versatile, it’s clear to see why this style of bean bag has remained so popular for so many years:

The XXL bean bag version seen here is currently on sale at just £199 – again, as with all our bean bags, with free delivery.

At Cozibag, we don’t just churn out cheaply made products for the mass market.  We aim to produce bean bags that are beautiful and complementary towards modern living styles in the UK.  Whether you have a city centre penthouse apartment, a Victorian villa or a suburban semi, we aim to inject style and comfort into UK living rooms!

Sao Luis Tan Brown leather bean bag back in stock…for now

Tuesday, October 5th, 2010

After a short absence, the increasingly popular Sao Luis tan brown leather bean bag is now back in stock.  Word of warning, however: we only have a few available at the moment and, as I mentioned, they are extremely popular.  They are also still at the hugely discounted price of £219 with FREE delivery, so I’d advise anyone looking at this large, retro-stylish leather bean bag to get in there quickly before they are all snapped up!

A quick congratulations must go to the European Ryder Cup team for their gallant victory over the yanks yesterday.  Although not particularly a golf fan (I’ve played once and had to resort, with the blessing of my opponent, to throwing the ball instead of teeing off as it was much less embarrassing than skewing each drive at such seemingly impossible angles), and not really understanding the rules of the Ryder Cup point-scoring system, I enjoyed the finale on the fourth and final day.  It was nail biting stuff and a pleasure to watch as I relaxed in front of the box on my huge Sao Paulo leather bean bag whenever I managed to sneak off for a tea break.

As usual, huge discounts are still available on all of our luxury designer beanbags.

England squad announced

Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010

So the big surprise of Fabio Capello’s final World Cup squad was the omission of Theo Walcott.

Personally, I don’t think Capello can be criticised for this decision.  Walcott has had a very indifferent season with Arsenal, in fact many Gooners were openly questioning whether the player has what it takes to be an Arsenal player and have suggested he has gone backwards in terms of his personal progression.  Whilst I don’t really subscribe to that view, I think his form made it very difficult to justify his inclusion in the squad, despite knowing that on his day Theo Walcott can terrorise the best defenders in the world with his electrifying pace and sublime footwork.

Capello clearly tried to give the young winger as much chance as possible to impress during England’s two warm-up games against Mexico and Japan, showing an obvious desire to add his name to the final 23, so long as Theo proved his worth.

In the end, Walcott didn’t really get into either game as much as he’d have liked, and Capello was left with little choice other than to leave him out.  A real shame for a very good young player, but I’m sure he’ll be back for the Euro Championships.

As in previous years, we’ll be providing bean bags to various companies and individuals during the world cup.  Our Everlast Faux Leather bean bags are perfect for such events – beautifully crafted in a luxury material which is extremely hard-wearing.  In fact, Everlast is so hard-wearing that we offer a 3 year guarantee on all products.

Why not get yourself a Cozibag beanbag and enjoy the whole tournament in complete comfort?  Get the beers in and relax – if you spill anything on an Everlast Faux Leather bean bag, it’ll wipe straight off.

Cozibag Bean Bag News

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

We’ve spent a bit of time these past few days visiting suppliers about new products/materials/colours and potential sites for photo shoots.  We’re happy to say we’ve found a beautiful tan brown leather to add to our existing real leather bean bag range, which includes the huge Sao Paulo Bean Bag and the slightly smaller Sao Luis and Santiago Bean Bags.

We’re very excited about the tan brown as it’s the same full-grain, luscious nappa leather as currently used for the Sao Paulo, Sao Luis and Santiago, but the lighter colour is also naturally cracked for a real vintage finish.

As for the photo shoot, we have found the perfect location Birmingham’s famous Jewellery Quarter.  It’s a lovely old converted building boasting huge windows and open brickwork to allow us to set up a fantastic scene and show visitors to our site how stylish our beanbags look.

There’ll be more information to come shortly, so keep posted.

In the mean time, don’t forget we still have at least 40% virtually everything on the site and FREE delivery on most bean bags.

Congratulations to Chelsea FC for winning the FA Cup to complete the first league and cup double in the club’s history.  It was a great game to watch from the comfort of our Cozibag quality designer bean bags (I lounged around on a new Sao Luis bean bag in real leather, which is a product we’ve not yet added to the website but will do soon.  It’s almost exactly the same as the popular Sao Paulo bean bag only a little smaller) and Chelsea were deserved winners.  Portsmouth didn’t threaten too much but had that penalty gone in things could have been different.

FA Cup final day is always special for many football fans.  It may be a false memory but it seems that every cup final there has ever been has been played on a gloriously warm, sunny day!  I’m sure I must be wrong but that’s how I think of them.  I remember as a child watching the infamous Liverpool v Wimbledon final and seeing big Dave Beasant save John Aldridge’s penalty, and that looping header from Hugo Sanchez which sealed an historic victory for the team that had only recently worked it’s way up to the top division from non-league football.  That was a sunny day too.  Happy days.

We’ve still got a huge sale on everything and, as mentioned, we will shortly be adding a new real leather bean bag to the range, so please visit cozibag.co.uk to buy a beautifully crafted designer bean bag today.

It’s all gone up in smoke…

Friday, April 16th, 2010

The volcanic eruption from beneath the Eyjafjallajokull Glacier in Iceland is an amazing thing, something which seems to belong to the age of the dinosaurs!  It’s astonishing that something so relatively small can affect such a high area, and it just goes to remind us all of the power of mother nature.

Apparently it started to erupt on 25th March but only began to spew its ash many miles into the air a couple of days ago.  This caused havoc with European airspace, with the UK experiencing a grounding of airplanes which is unprecedented.  Almost all flights in and out of the UK will not take place until at least 1am Saturday (17th April).  I have friends who are due to fly back from holiday today so they will be in for a frustrating time.  It got me thinking how nice it would be for airports to have bean bag zones for people to relax when there’s a delay!  Our Everlast Faux Leather Bean Bags would be perfect!

After hearing that a light dusting of volcanic ash may fall over the UK overnight, I eagerly (ok, geekily) woke up this morning and rushed outside in the hope I’d find a layer of warm ash, fresh from the earth’s mantle…not quite, I did see a bit of dust but then I haven’t cleaned my car for a year so it was really quite difficult to tell if there was any difference.  It’s not stopped me from going to work so no need for our customers to worry as they’ll be receiving their bean bag orders as promptly as always!

It may look demonic and it may cause a great deal of disruption for millions of people, but it is a beautiful sight to behold.

VAT increase not passed on to Cozibag Bean Bags’ customers

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

We have continued with sale prices on our entire range of luxury bean bags and not increased our prices to reflect the VAT increase.  In fact, we have actually lowered prices across the board!

The current prices will now stay the same throughout January to allow us to clear down stock levels a little and work on exciting new beanbag designs for 2010.  We hope to expand our range of bean bag materials to include new elegant, high-quality fabrics to accompany our existing lines of luxury faux leather bean bags and luxury real leather bean bags.

We have an exciting new face on board this year to help us design some truly original pieces, so look out in the coming months for some unique bean bag furniture; we promise it’s going to make a real impression and take the modern-living furniture market by storm.

England World Cup Glory from the comfort of a Bean Bag!

Monday, December 7th, 2009

So, the nation begins to expect…it’s that time again when every football fan starts to dream of their country lifting the greatest prize in football: The FIFA World Cup.

Unfortunately, the Scots, Welsh and Northern Irish missed out following some below-par performances, and the Irish, well, I think the less said about that one the better.  Therefore, the whole of the UK and Ireland will be cheering on the one remaining home nation to glory…or possibly not, but it’s nice to think that everyone will get behind Rooney and co.

The draw for the group stage was certainly kind to England and at least gives hope to achieving the minimum target of qualifying for the knock-out rounds.  OK, you have to beat the best teams in order to go all the way and win it, but at least there’s a good chance of avoiding a complete hammering from the English press if they reach the later stages!

The last international tournament in Austria and Switzerland (European Championship 2008) was a complete wash out, with all home nations failing to qualify for that one, but England did appear in the last World Cup, staged in Germany, 2006.  Cozibag was then a fledgling company but we met up with some local business owners and were proud to supply some prestigious Birmingham bars with bean bags to allow their customers to watch the games in style.  We only had a limited range of styles at the time and provided them all with classic High-back XXL Beanbag in Red/White combinations in our unbeatable Everlast Faux Leather material , which is beautifully luxurious but incredibly strong.  Mixed colours arent available on the website just at the moment but we will be getting new stock in plenty of time for the World Cup.  They went down a treat and we have since fulfilled more bean bag orders for various shapes and colours.

The Everlast Faux Leather range is very popular with businesses as the bean bags offer high-end style with superb quality workmanship and durability.  We have also started supplying our new range of real leather bean bags to businesses who wish to opt for the most luxurious pieces available.
